Early days: A 'Starting My Own Business' class conducted in La Habra, CA

The My Own Business course content, presented in classrooms since 1992, was offered online at www.myownbusiness.org in 2000. Over time, the Internet course expanded to 16 sessions covering all the essential topics necessary to inform entrepreneurs how to avoid the most common pitfalls. From there, it then doubled to encompass two courses that now cover the entire small business lifecycle.

During this time, MOBI content has been steadily enhanced with video clips, downloadable templates, graded quizzes, an online certification system, and links to partner resources.
