My Own Business, Inc. (MOBI) offers a complete package for a facilitator to promote, organize and conduct our course which covers the fundamentals of starting a business. The course addresses all the basic disciplines that new business start-ups face today and has been successfully taught in classrooms, seminars and workshops since 1992.

WHO CAN TEACH THE COURSE?

It is important that all MOBI facilitators are knowledgeable and confident in presenting the course content.

The My Own Business course is presented by facilitators who are qualified either as Professional Educators or Business Professionals:

a. Professional Educators: Educators with a current teaching credential and are affiliated with an educational institution are not required to complete the Certificate Course; however we highly recommend that you do. Educators completing the Certificate Course will be included in the MOBI data base of qualified facilitators.
or
b. Business Professionals: Individuals wishing to teach our course but do not have a current teaching credential are required to enroll in our Certificate Course. Please see: http://www.myownbusiness.org/certificate_course.html. After completing the Certificate Course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and your name will be included in the MOBI data base of qualified facilitators.

Business Professionals not affiliated with educational institutions are required to sign and return the Course Presentation Agreement. This agreement includes provisions regarding terms of use, copyright information and agreement that each student be provided a copy of the My Own Business textbook. (Click Here to see Course Presentation Agreement.)

MOBI does not hire facilitators. Our job is to provide you with the information and materials you need to facilitate our course in your own classroom.
