Demographics play a major part of location. Again the word location keeps coming up so the demographics around your location that you choose are very important. I also think that one of the mistakes that new businesses make or get involved in is inadequate parking. Good ingress and egress to parking and available parking is especially important in California because Californians won't walk a half a block; they'll drive around till they can park next to your business. Another thing that is important is traffic. For instance, in Riverside, California traffic is a major, major problem and getting worse all the time but you need it for you business.
