Entrepreneur Fired = Troy, Trump had to make his toughest decision yet and in the end Trump explained Troy would be great but just was not ready yet.
Task:
To lease Trump World Tower Penthouse 89b. The team to submit a lease agreement for the highest amount wins.
Valuable insight gained from this episode:
Aim high? In negotiating a lease team Protégé was aiming for 35,000 to 40,000 which would not have allowed them to win even if they had hit 40,000. Trump told them this was stupid however in terms of luck and hard work it's hard to say who really should have won this event. Team Protégé arguably put in the effort to win. Versacorp, came up with a bit of luck. The Penthouse sold itself. This brings a quote to mind although.
"Luck is when opportunity meet preparation."
"Business is business and friends are friends." In this episode we saw both teams do well. Troy had to make a decision on who he would take into the board room with him, he chose Kwami who he had a good working relationship with. This was a calculated risk and unfortunately for Troy it failed.
